Rimfire Scope with Mildot Reticle

So I'm looking to upgrade the scope on my Savage Mk 2.

I currently have a Tasco Varmint 2-10 power with the mildot reticule. Unfortunately the glass isnt the best and Id like some more magnification. I'm just wondering if there are any rimfire or AO scopes out there with a mildot reticule that don't cost as much as a Nightforce haha. Say in the $300 range. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Hawke makes some good bang-for-the-buck scopes with mil-dot reticles and side focus. The Hawke Varmint, available in 6-24, was superseded a couple of years ago by the Vantage model. It is reputedly as good as the Varmint model and can be had for under $300. Check with D&L Airguns (Hawke scopes are airgun rated as spring piston air rifles have a heckuva lot more recoil than a rimfire). I've had five or six Hawke Varmints and they are very good for the money, and the reticles are fine enough for target shooting.

More Hawke love here. I have an older one that has software to make sense of the reticule. Pop in half decent info, and out pops what each "dot" should represent based on your inputs.
