Not sure why the search on this doesn't work for me?
Anyways looking to throw out the cheap pos bushnell scope I have on one of my 10/22's and get something that works. I'm not rich so I was wondering about picking up a simmons 22mag 3-9/32 possibly? I have vortex on a few of my larger rifles does vortex make a good rimfire scope?

the one I had on my ruger was some red hat pre packaged one from bass pro. Came with rings and stuff worked fine and only $75.00 I put a Nikon pro staff 3x9x40 on my .17hmr and its super clear and easy to adjust. I think I paid about $180. for it

I would go up to the Nikon also. The Simmons would be about the same as the cheap Bushnell.Cabelas has some pretty good rimfire scopes also under their name.w:h:

Bought a Bushy Elite 4-16 for my CZ Lux. By far not a cheap pos, picked it over a Leupold. Also have an Elite 3200 and Trophy XLT. What model is this cheap pos you talk of?

I just put a Bushnell AR22 on my 10/22 and its pretty slick. Being able to back it out to 2x is a nice option. There is a $30 rebate on them right now as well.

I mounted a Vortex Crossfire II 2 x 7 x32 on my Zastava .22 I am pleased with it.
It replaced a Simmons 22 mag scope that the cross hairs fell out of.

I mounted a Hawke 3 x 9 x32 scope on my 10/22 it seems like a decent scope for the price.
Both scopes were around $150.00

There are lots of good choices for better .22 scopes and most come with parallax adjustment. Obviously at the high end would be Leupold 3-9x36 AO EFR for $597 but we sell far more Nikon 3-9x40AO EFR for $169 which are more than what most people will ever need. Phil.

I bought a Nikon Prostaff 5 4.5-18×40 with side parallax adjustment for my 1517 Anschutz. It's a pretty nice scope in that $450 - $500 range. It came with two sets of turrets, a low set and a high target set for both elevation and wind. Plus with the purchase of the scope Nikon will send you a customized ballistic turret on elevation for whatever load and the general conditions you usually shoot In. That should take some of the guess work out of those long gopher/pigeon/skunk/crow shots.

I appreciate the help guys! I'm going to look today to see if I can find a vortex crossfire. The Bushnell that I had on it was just marked Bushnell rimfire 3-9x32.
