Rimfire scope

Hi, i was starting to look at scopes to install on a bolt action varmint barrel 22
I am a huge fan of vortex, and since rimfire is shot at closer ranges i want to be able to adjust parallax.
Right now the decision would be between diamondback HP 2-8x32
And diamondback HP 3-12x42
Anyone else run precision rimfire with any of these two setups?

I have the 6-24×50 cross fire ii with BDC reticle on my savage tr. Great bang for the buck. My 452 Varmint has a 6-24 x 42 sightron sii big sky. AO is a must. No such thing as too much scope or magnification for reaching out. My vortex tracks extremely well.I crank on the turrets all the time. I usually shoot the tr from 50yds to 170yd. I know exactly where to reset the turrets and its so easy to switch from short yardage to long.

Check out Nikon Prostaff Target EFR 3-9x40. It will focus down to 10 yards and rocks on my Savage MKII TR. I can't comment on Vortex scopes, although I do have a Vortex red dot on another rifle.
