Rimfire scope?

I thought the factory triggers were supposed to be pretty good. How is the accuracy from the CZs? Is it comparable to a savage?

Here is a sampling of different ammo, both 5 and 10 round groups shot at 50 yards:

I'd put it against any Savage. As with any .22 you have to find a ammo it likes, with SK rifle match all 10 rounds groups have been under .5" at 50 yards. If I cherry picked 3 round groups I would say it shots em all in one hole, but that's not my style. It shoots Win 555 pretty decent for cheap ammo.

The factory trigger is not as good as the Savage accutrigger. With the $18 yodave kit and 20 minutes of your time it is better than an accutrigger. Plus the fit and finish is way ahead of the savage, however it is twice the price for a very modest, or even negligible, gain in real performace. It all depends what is important; myself, well I like nice rifles.

Thanks for the input. I want something nice and classy that I can keep around for ages. Think I'll get a 455 American :) ..... now to decide on a scope :p

Nikon introduced a Pro staff model in a 3-9 rimfire, I thought they were around $179.00. They also make a very good rimfire scope in 2-7 for about $149.
I have several of the 2-7 Leupolds rimfire scopes and they are a great piece, but if the Nikons were available at the time I bought all of these much more expensive Leupolds, I'd have bought the Nikons.
Some folks want to talk about scope brightness, but when I'm shooting gophers it almost always a nice warm sunny day. FS
