rimfire shoots in edmonton area

just got posted to edmonton with the army dont know area that well am member of alberta fish and game club but would like to participate in rimfire competitions

I know they have a bullseye match at Phoenix on Tuesday for CHAS members, might be a good place to start. - dan

I think the spruce grove gun club has a silhouette match I don't know about times or anything...they have a website.

The range is out Hwy 16...I think it's the closest to to the base.

Wainwright has a wicked gun club and when I was posted to Edmonton I did drive out there to go to a couple .22 matches.

Try talking to Al at wholesale, he can hook you up with a .22 match right in town though. Ummm... where was it, out the east end of town. Cant remember the name of the club right now, but Al can tell you.

Sherwood Park Fish and Game's Range by Toefield puts on at least one rimfire shoot a year, shooting at between 20 and 50 yrds, IIRC. It's shooting at 5 little metal silhoutte targets at each distance. I'll have to post the date's later as I don't have a schedule right handy.

We shoot every wednesday night at Spruce Grove .That 22 silhoutte at 40 60 77,and 100 m offhand no slings.
