Rimfiresports.com?

If someone is in a real rush and they don't want to wait... Offer them to have ship by UPS, and pay the +/- $50 in brokerage fees!

I wish I knew how Canada Post works, some package just show up at my door, some get charge taxes... But I'm not complaining! I think it's great to have to Canadian Friendly shop around!

Mike.

I just picked up my order today and am very pleased :)

Just ignore the random jerks. If we knew who they were we'd kick their asses.

Welcome to CGN Rimfire....
As has been said, Don`t let a few morons give you the impression that all Canadians are cheap-a$$ idiots.
I will be ordering some parts for my new 10/22 from you real soon.

I have made a few orders from rimfiresports and the customer service has always been top notch. I will continue to support them as long as they ship to Canada. Excellent service, best prices around and free shipping, what more could you ask for?
Please don't let one jerk ruin it for the rest of us.

And...you don't want HawkTech to own the market either ;) ....not that there's anything wrong with them, you never knows who's watching :)

Is it common knowledge in Canada that items shipped via United States Postal Service end up being finally being delivered by Canada Post and that they may have to pick it up at Canada Post?

Absolutely 'Yes', and also that the less attractive alternative is UPS, which charges a fixed customs brokerage fee on top of shipping & duty (the fee can be as much as 1/3 the stated price of the item).

I just placed my first order with you because of the accolades you've received on this site for great CANADIAN friendly service and shipping practices - I cancelled my previous order for same part from a CDN supplier after waiting over 8 months for the part, which was going to cost an extra $100 to cover the 'import service', so I think you'll find this Canuck extremely patient & grateful. Keep up the great work!

I have both a Remington and a Ruger on the project list for this winter and hope to deal with Rimfire Sports for the parts. All I've read on this forum is positive comments to your products and service so please don't let the occasional ass cause you any concern or ruin that service for the rest whom appreciate your service.

I have reccomended Rimfiresports to many people who have also ordered from them. I have been nothing but impressed with their level of customer service thus far. Everything I have ordered has arrived within 10 days, and you can't beat free shipping. I just wish that more "local" retailers were as accomidating. At this point, I am a loyal Rimfiresports customer and they will receive my business for any required product that they stock. Even if a Canadian company appeared with the same/better price and service, I would stick to Rimfire.

People are too concerned with the bottom dollar (although RFS prices are quite competitve), often service and loyality are overlooked.

Well said.
I have nothing but good words about Rimfiresports.
Keep it up !

Rimfire Sports - You had me at "it's in stock"!

New GM barrel arrived today - exactly what I was looking for, exactly the price you quoted ($100 less than a Canadian supplier), and only 10 days after ordering. I'm a convert - you'll be getting a lot more business from me in the future.

now if they could just get some decent stocks in stock.. I emailed them and they told me that Revival went T.U. and somebody bought their stuff out of bankruptcy and were gearing up but that it might take a while...

Hot Rod Parts

Just like building a hotrod engine, the goodies are inside.
Just finished ordering the following for my 10/22 from "Rimfire"...
- Volquartzen Auto Bolt Release in black
- Volquartzen Extended Mag Release in black
- Volquartzen High Perf. (trigger) Kit
Plus a couple of Butler Creek steel lip 25 rnd mags in "smoke"

All these parts have rave reviews (though it wouldn`t be hard to improve on Rugers mag release, OMG theirs sux baaad. Almost as bad as the bolt release. :p)

Just gotta see how long it takes to get to Alberta.

I am another satisfied customer. Ordered a barrel and stock and had it in about 2 weeks. I will definately order from them again.

rimfire order is HERE!!

WOOHOO!
Ordered my stuff Oct. 17th, and its in my Alberta mailbox today. No duties, no extra taxes, no problems. :runaway:
Kudos to Rimfire Sports. Too bad they only deal in rimfire...I'd send more business their way.
If anyone is hesitating due to them being Stateside..DON'T BE!!! A+1

EDIT..Ok, its 2 1/2 hrs later. SHEESH!! I had the new extended mag release and new bolt hold open part in place inside of 10 minutes. Then it came to the new Hi Perf Trigger Kit....OMG!!
The instructions are pretty good but could use a little improvement. Trying to hold 2 bushings and 2 springs in place while trying to get the hammer spring legs into place. Ahhhhh...maybe I'm just an idiot.
I'm glad I had read a post a few weeks ago about the sear shims. There was no mention in the instructions what they were or what they were for or that they even existed. Good ol' GunNutz.
A parts list of what the bag contains might be a good idea for us do-it-yerselfers who've never smithed before. JMO
I dry fired it a couple of times (ouch) to see if the trigger felt any lighter. It did seem better but the proof will be at the range.
Now I just gotta get my scope back from the warranty repairs, get it installed and let 'er rip at the range with the new Butler Creek 25 rnd mags.
