Hi
I am starting a Rimx build and just wondering what triggers groups everyone is using. Rimx website says they use Trigger Tech Diamond, but I have heard that the sear is higher and can cause rubbing issues with the rimx bolt, anyone encounter these issues , or did the trigger tech diamond work just fine with no rubbing issues.
Thanks For The Input

Hi George. I’ve owned 3 RimX rifles, including a 17 HMR, with Diamonds on all of them and have had no issues. Desert Precision (who arguably makes one of the best custom RimX builds available) also uses Diamonds on their builds. Rimfire always has unique and odd exceptions, and your experience may differ, but that’s my two cents. Cheers.

I am curious about your build if you are willing to share details etc. I am in the build mode as well, but don’t know enough about the RimX world. Would like to know / see more.

Another Rim X/ TT Diamond user here - Built by Primal Rights/TS Customs - Faultless in operation & never had a trigger issue of any kind.
I understand the B&A trigger requires the low sear to work reliably in the Rim X action.

Just to add another plus for the TT diamond, I have been running it in my RimX for the last year and a half with no issues.

I had a TT Diamond on my RimX and had no issues. On the other hand there have been many complaints on the USA forums about compatibility with the early RimX. There was a recent post on snipers hide from Ray at RiimX indicating that they redesigned the RimX cocking piece in 2023 and there are no further issues.

Good day. I currently have 2 Rimx. One I purchased from GBT ,it has a TT Diamond. Approx 4500rnds through it in a year. No issues at all. My other one I put together myself , I used a TT Special. I’m just over 1500 rnds now and again no issues.

Used both TT and Bix. Sold on Bix for interchangeable shoes, sears, ease of cleaning and no solid “wall” after the break.

Both have worked flawlessly in my Rim-X. Not an issue when set up correctly. TT is just more “plug” and play compared to the bix where a low sear is required. But if you order accordingly that is a moot argument.

Just to clarify. There have been instances with the TT trigger rubbing and dragging on the cocking piece, causing misfires. Ray at Zermatt has a different cocking piece if you have this issue. He's easy to get ahold of and will be a non issue getting one. I had an issue with mine but just decided to mill 0.010 off it zero issues since.
