Hi. Title pretty much says it all. Mark II BTVS. Mueller 8.5-25x44AO. I know the rifle has stock bases but I want to make sure I do the scope mount "right", even if it means a few bucks more. A few questions...
1. On the off chance someone has this scope on a Mark II and can you tell me the ring heights I'll need for the bell to just clear?
2. Reading RFC, it seems high Burris Sig Zee rings will work with stock bases and this scope. Thoughts on either the stock bases or those rings? Can I do better?
3. Does it make sense to replace the stock bases with a 1-piece base/ring set? I see DNZproducts.com has 1-piece bases for the 93R17 and they suggested to me that a high set of those would work. Does this sound right to you? Receiver diameter and holes are the same?
