Quick question, recently purchased M14 S from Marstar.Shoots surplus rounds as advertized. Laz in his FAQ post says something about a Singing Bolt. When I release my bolt It carries a tone quite loud and long. I am unfamiliar with modern MBRs.
I know that a knife of fine quality will ring, so here is the rub, same for rifles
P.S. My Question mark button doesnèt work , nor the apostrophy one.
Thanx C.

thanx for the reasurance, still gonna get my girl checked out. Gophers are startin to pop thier heads up now, and was worried it might be mine missing. Karma thing

"...My Question mark button doesnèt work..." You've got the French key board installed. One of the 'F' keys will fix it. Might be a couple of keys. Shift and an F key for example. Naturally, I don't remember which one. Rummage around in the properties of your key board in Control Panel.

Put my short M-14S together today without my flash hider and no ring.Put my Dlask vortec on and we have ring.5 second ring.So I guess my vortec is also a tuning fork.

It's always the flash suppressor that acts as a tuning fork. Actually for the Dlask and also SEI Vortex owners, just rub your fingers along it and you'll hear the faint ring.
