Rings and bases for Rem 700

What do you recomend for rings and bases for a Remington LVSF that I will be purchasing soon, to go with my Burris Fullfield II 4.5-14 42 thats on order. I would like to get the burris extreme rings but they only come in 30mm. Any suggestions.

Should I go with 1 piece or 2 piece base.

I have the same scope mounted in medium height lightweight talley one peice rings/bases. They work great.

The Burris Exterme rings are now available in 1" diam. but only have shipped Ex hi and low. Phil.

I guess I'll have to see if I can use low rings once my scope comes in. I think it will need mediums, but i'm not sure.

If your scope is 40 mm or bigger you will need mediums for sure. I like the looks of the two piece base over the one but iether will work fine. I like Leupold and Burris. Look on thier websites . That may help you choose. Good luck.

Contact Joe at ### International, he sells TPS rings and bases. I have a set of Leupold PRW bases (weaver style steel) with a set of low TPS rings. Works great and I have a Falcon 42mm scope in the lows without any problems. For the money, I don't think you can get much better than the TPS.
