Rings for parker hale

I just purchased a parker hale safari deluxe off the exchange. It has permenant bases for parker hale rings which are like weaver rails but with a hole in the center instead of the cut out (hope that makes sense). Thing is the rings are to short for my Leupold vx-3 (which i purchased before hand). The Bolt handle makes contact with the rear of the sight (not the main tube). Are there rings i can use with increased height? Does Parker hale make a taller ring? Has anyone had this problem and over come it?

P-H bases are narrower than Weaver bases so you will have to use original P-H rings. Yes, they MADE taller rings, but they beocme harder and harder to find these days - you may try e-bay and other related sites, and / place a want to buy in the EE...
