Rings & Mounts for Savage Axis?

I'm wondering if anyone with a savage axis can answer this.....

I've got one on the way and i need to know what mounts and rings have been used on these?

I plan on putting a Trophy XLT, 3x9 on it.

mines a 2 peice mount with rings that have a side screw holding them on not sure the name of them though, i just put on a 4x12x50 scope on mine tonight

i beleive they are 41 weaver bases rings are up to you id suggest burris steels, or maybe even burris steel bases depending on caliber

Weaver 46 mounts will fit.

I have a few EGW 1pc pic rail bases left. Flat and 20 MOA.

Most any ring that is weaver base compatible will work on the Axis.

I use Burris Signature Zee rings for pretty much everything. The inserts eliminate any problems with potential misalignment and hold the scope securely without marking the tube.
