Rings + Scope for Winchester wildcat 22lr

I am looking at Vortex® Crossfire II 2-7 32mm or 3-9 40mm but I would like also to have the chance to use it for a future 30-30,308 or 30-06 hunting around 100-200 yards max. Will this scope hold well for those calibers too?

What Picatinny rings do I need for the wildcat? any recommendation?

Yes, but unless you're broke go for a Diamond back 2-7 instead. I got one $150 used!

All pic rings are the "same". I have no issues with $15 Amazon ones holding 0 on my 22. I use Tasco medium in my 308

As mentioned, skip the crossfire line if you can afford. Check boxing day deals. Saw some really good prices on a few dealer sites already.

Another option is to get something cheap for the 22 and save for a better scope for the centrefire. My Wildcat wears a fixed 4x TruGlo scope I paid $13 for, and it's a great little scope for a 22 plinker IMO.

Is there a reason why diamondback? Also I wonder if I get 2-7 diamondback rimfire I can use it for centre fire in a 3006?

You might run into parallax issues on a rimfire specific scope, that said I’ve been running a shotgun scope on a .308 for a couple years. It has a 75m parallax if I recall and I have shot deer with it out to 140-160m, as well as my 200m gong with no problems.

Because it's a step up for barely any money. The crossfire is the cheapest line they throw on combo guns. I had a 2-7 DB and it was very nice out to 200 on my rimfire.

If youre set on a $200 crossfire, a Bushnell banner will probably get you a better result! The old banners can be had for under 100 used, and I've even seen the Banner 2 go on sale for $99.

Any gun scope will work on any caliber. Rim fire just means that the parallax is set to 50-75m instead of 150/adjustable or has a 22lr specific reticle.
