A reminder why to stop in at your local gun store regularly. Saw these on the shelf at Reliable, so I grabbed a box. He said they were planning on carrying them regularly now that they found a source. 2 3/4" 1 1/8 oz. 1410 fps.

Hoping to get out shooting monday, and I'll try to recover some to compare to the exact and fed magnum.

I shot a few of these yesterday but didn't have time to prep any targets to do a heads up comparison, and even forgot paper targets. However, I managed to recover one from a stump and it looks like it is made from harder lead as there was minimal expansion, so that's a good sign.

~15 yards into wet fir, 8.5" barrel.

I believe these are made to be purely deep penetrators on big/dangerous game.

The fact they don't expand is probably part and parcel with the design.

I now carry these in my bear defence guns.
