My hunting buddy has moved on to a better place... Makes me sad. She was a good dog and companion. She was laid to rest in the hills that her and I hunted coyotes for. Just how she would have wanted.

Very sorry to hear of your pup's passing.

Thanks for taking the time to post her pic(s), she sure looks like she had a good time messing with those yotes!

Again, my condolences.

Regards
Jay

I just yesterday went through that...holding in my arms the best dog I have ever owned while she got her final injection. I know how you feel.

My sincerest condolences.

Beautiful dog - looks like a cherished friend. Maybe she will search the brush in the heavens and find you some real honey holes for when you reunite!

Sorry to hear this. :( RIP Daisy (And condolences as well jjohnwm. )

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

She got loose today and I did not know it. Went looking for her and found her on the side of the highway. She got hit by a car or something. Was dead when I found her. It was 6 degrees today and when I found her she was still warm. Makes me sad. Only If I had realized she was out a few min before I did she might still be here.

My condolences.

I was gonna say also, wasn't it just recently you posted those yote-hunt pics ?

Do you mind me asking how she came to pass ?

She looked like a great pal, but I'm sure your next dog will be great too !

:)

Take peace of mind that you gave a loving home to a great friend, and she has left you with fond memories. The only down side of dogs is that their lives are to short.

Very sorry for your loss.
