RIP - Newfoundlander

As a friend of Glenn's for many years I just wanted to say how touched I was to discover this tribute to him. He was a great guy and all who knew him continue to miss him terribly. As they say, only the good die young. He was taken all too soon.

I've dealt with Glenn in the past on a rare part for a fairly rare gun. If you were stuck for that elusive, non-existent part, Glenn would show up. Glenn, you will be sadly missed. My condolences, and happy shooting, wherever you are!

I'm so sorry to hear this. My condolences goes to his family and friends. I had the opportunity deal with Glenn a couple years ago as he bought my Steyr M95 and he was a great man to deal with and to chat with as we both enjoyed collecting and chatting about the Steyr's. I remember at the time he was battling yet was strong and happy and loving life. I have to strongly agree this is a big loss to our Canadian Gun Community and he will be surely missed.

I had heard of Glenn's passing, but was not aware he was only 44. I will be that age in a few months myself. Given his knowledge and way of dealing, I had had the impression he was a much older fellow. My sincere condolences to his family. He was a great guy to deal with.

Very sorry to hear of Glenn's passing. As one Newfoundland gun collector to another we chatted several times, and I recall selling him an old Swiss Vertilli several years ago. I was just reviewing the PMs from Glenn in my inbox.

Sad news indeed. God speed and God Bless old friend..
