Rise of the Bullpup

Now you understand why the mrr are going to medcon barrels. It swings better.

I was referring to fatugue from being front heavy. Having a keymod forend will definitely mitigate this, but it's till not going to be as good in that regard.

The secret squirrel C8s and MK18s are fine for that because they're SMG-short, but it really limits their application.

As for the triggers... i was comparing to stock to stock.

Well, heres the other thing, once you get into those short distances, how much does that trigger actually matter?

Yes, because I am not some super soldier type. I am just a normal dude and I don't train all the time in all honesty. I need the easiest way out and after testing myself, it is much less fatigue to run a X95 then a Mk18 over flights of stairway ( not just walking up but covering my arc....and all that stuff) Bore over height, trigger....are not relevant anymore if I want to place the weapon down and drink water after the 3rd flight. YMMV

The super duper guys can shoot a C6 like a bloody carbine - but honestly I cannot. This is like picking a snowboard, pick the one for my own height....but not the one used by the Olympic dude on TV!

So your choice of weapon for extreme close quarter engagements to lug up and down 10 flights of stairs would be the the heavier option with the bigger sight over bore offset and error margins and worse trigger...

Ever notice how the sayaret guys all went back to the stubby m4 pattern guns recently?

The cp guys and the ct guys i have had the pleasure of talking to say it's very important during hostage situation on low percentage shots. Height over bore offsets affect how high you need to hold, and how much of yourself you need to expose to the threat, and the trigger quality is important on taking a shot on a dude hiding mostly behind a hostage because it needs to be taken fast but at the same time be a very deliberate shot in a fairly small target area... all while factoring in the sight over bore offset. This is third party info and I have only a small amount of extreme close range shooting experience and zero hostage rescue experience so i have nothing to add myself. I know what you meant.

And i already mentioned the balance of a bullpup is excellent. But to me its pros don't outweigh a c8s pros for me to switch.

As i already said a x95 is a good gun. Despite its flaws i wont turn my nose up at one.

I've talked to a few Canadian soldiers who have said they wished canada switched to a bullpup... simply because of their ease of use in and out of vehicles. It makes sense. And I think it's honestly the only reason (but a BIG reason) why militarys and enforcement agency's adopt them to begin with.

Those Jards remind me of the "Luty" homemade submachine guns. Square and chunky, unless they were somehow super cheap, i dont get their appeal at all.

Also, wouldnt that "fly by wire" electronic trigger bullpup 10-22 sort of thing be considered to easy to convert to full auto? Even in the USA i dont see that product being allowed, if all it would take would be installing a little electrical repeater, like the "rapid fire" switches you used to see on aftermarket video game controllers.
