Riton VS Nightforce

: the Riton will do 97% of the Nighforce will do. it comes down to is that 3% going to make a difference?

What are you trying to quantify that the scope "does"? Are you saying it tracks 97% as good? Comes back to zero 97% of the time?
I guess if you put up with a keyboard that doesn't type properly, a junk scope is no big deal.

There's attention to detail, and then there's attention to all the details.

A friend owns a Riton scope in one of those big-a$$ high-magnification target models. It's a fixed scope in literally every way: the power is fixed (although it's supposed to be a zoom...), the adjustment turrets are fixed as well (they spin, but the crosshairs and POI don't move...), and even the parallax is fixed (as in turning the knob doesn't change focus at all).

I think the eyepiece focus works, so there's that...
