Whats the powder good in?

Has been my "go to" for 150 grain Partition in 7x57 and 225 grain Accubond in 338 Win Mag. In manuals, I am seeing it in 25-06, etc. for various weights. Nothing, anywhere, says it is "best" in your rifles, or my rifles - but pressure tested loads are listed to go "bang" in many cartridges and bullet weights.

Is a thing, Mark - get stuff at a "good deal" is "good thing" - but not so "good deal", if it is of no use to you. Aught to have bought some loading manuals instead, perhaps - will need some sooner or later ...
Example - I recently bought 500 x 20 gauge wads at what I thought was terrific price - but now can not find a "recipe" for those wads, in the hulls that I have, and using the primers and powders that I have. Turned out not so great purchase, until or unless I find some more information ...

I did buy a couple for books, one is the ABC's or reloading. The other is a books called cartridges of the world. It has a ton of different calibres.

It has different sections on the different calibres, then at the end the reloading data, so really good to have for a reference.
I use it in .30-06 (180 & 220 gr., but RL22 works better, at least for me, for 220 gr.), 6.5x55 (129 & 140 gr.), 7x64 (150 & 175 gr), 8x57 (250 gr.) & 375 H&H (300 gr. compressed)

Good to know about the 6.5x55!
I used to use it a lot in my 338 Win Mag behind 210 gr Noslers. Great, accurate, fast load. - dan

Seems to work miracles sometimes in guns that struggle with the "standard/common" powders.
I seen it turn a mossberg 270 that was a 2 moa gun with the typical hodgdon and imr 270 powders into a honest sub moa gun. Touching bullet holes more times than not. Same bullets.
I use it in 7mm wsm and 270. Never tried it in the 06 yet.

Every one says RL22 for the 65X55 but mine shot Rl19 with a 140 same speed but more accurate.
My pet load in the 338 Win Mag was: WW case, WLRM primer, 76.0 grains of Reloder 19 and the 210 Partition.
Shot Sub-moa at 2995 fps avg. Shot two Bison with this combo. Very effective results. Dave.
