In Ontario, the law is you must be across the legal boundry of the road easement. Road easements (regular roads not highways) are 66ft wide. Usually were a fence is erected, is the edge of easement. That is why they say you must cross the fence to legally shoot. Now Townships can create bylaws that can restrict shooting. This may be the case in an area were you hunt. So they may have a 300ft distance in effect.

Never the less , if I'm going to hunt then I'm getting off my duffess and hunt like it's ment to be . Disabled and seniors should be able to road hunt ..no probs with that at all...but able bodied hunters that roadhunt are likely the type to use the disabled parkingspots too.
A while ago , I was travelling down the 402 and seen a coyote in a field , about 200yd off the road . 3 hours later , when I was coming back , sure enough , I seen that 'Yote still standing in the same place , looking the same direction. I wondered if that was a decoy , set up by the MNR , for roadhunters...hope so...least I know my taxes are being used for the right thing.

What the hell does a vehicle have anything to do with it
