Robar NP3 / NP3 plus, has anyone sent things for refinishing?

Has anyone sent firearms to this business for refinishing?

I'm looking to see what an approximate cost of coating a pistol and maybe an ar15 bcg would be, if at all possible.

FBI used to spec Robar for all their HRT and spec ops guns so it must be pretty good.

Best first step would be to contact Robar direct and ask what procedure to follow for the export. They might have a dealer in Canada to facilitate orders. Educated guess would be it wont be cheap. Just the export/import fee's will probably make it undesirable.
 
I've had an HK P7 that I purchased already coated with NP3. Far better than any other finish I have ever encountered.

I believe that Robar's website has a very detailed price guide. Just note, it is in US$ and shipping will be pricey.
 
I had some work done by them about 25 years ago, two rifles, one was done in NP3 and the other in Chrome Sulphide,
both are great finishes, I sent the rifles directly to them and they sent them back to me through a courrier,
sorry can't remember who I used at the time, regardless this would not be as easy to do today.
