I wish mine was that purdy, it looks like its been strapped to the quad rack and mud bogged, fallen off said quad while riding down gravel roads, banged around on the floor of the truck, dropped numerous times and its got sap on it.

Very nice Z. Does that NEA stock adapter lock up very solid? I like how it doesn't interrupt the flow of the rifle.
Zreturns--crazy nice elcan$$$$$.....I am jelous.
And thnks ccw.
thats what i wanted to see z.
I love having a folding stock for transport. (those f*ckin factory cases don't give you an extra inch of room!) but hate the wobble. looks like it adds about an inch of pull to the stock ? thank god. haha.
but i've also got my eye on the magpul ubr stock.... (yeah, i'll try to avoid the kool-aid, but d*mn it's tasty)
has anyone changed out their flash hider with success?
I just received my new stock adapter and I thought I would share some pics on it.
This is the new adapter and Magpul UBR stock in comparison to the factory stock.

They are about the same length but the UBR and adapter is much heavier. The adapter is definitely beefy and solidly built.
I put the rifle together and it is coming together nicely. I put a Magpul MIAD and XTM rail covers on the rifle. She balances out quite nicely and is definitely less muzzle heavy.
The cheekweld is much better to the sights and the rifle; while heavier, it definitely feels more balanced.

I got a refund on my folding adaptor because there was too much wobble to my taste. My reference of a tight folder being Butler Creek mini-14 stock.
I prefer a flash-hider over muzzle-brake. I got my barrel threaded by Jeff at Valley Gunsmithing. Now sporting a Vortex.
oh and Z, its going to be a while till you see those pictures, a frankenstien homebuilt bass has captured my project fund, interest and time...
like bass guitar. hahaBass, like "Home Theater" bass?![]()
