Just saw this guys 9" mini XCR on arfcom, that thing is awesome. But from what 308smk is saying, we won't be seeing any of these unless Wolverines makes some sort of move. I understand that the US export perps won't allow it, but if we can get some 9" barrels locally like some are doing for the FNH PS90 we might be able to work our way around it.

If your going to talk handgun cartridges in one of these there is only one that I would go for it would have to be chambered in 10mm...

No more issues than when breaking in an AR (in my experience). Ammo is affordable if you are buying AE 55 gr (or 62 gr) FMJ's.

7.69x39 surplus --- 600 or so rounds with 0 problems

Yes and many other calibers
I like the 9mm.Cheap to shoot and plentyful.I dont reload at all so its easy to find in most stores.
Right now i would take a green one if it came in 223.Still waiting on Wolverine to get them in.This has taken way longer than i thought and was almost ready to give up and buy something else.Then i gave my head a shake
Hopefully it will be here in 1 week or so.
