Has anyone here tried the robertson stocks and I am wondering which one to order I would like to build a 6ppc need a stock and an action I will get the barrel from ted they say 4 to 6 weeks for the stock and I wonder about the Barnard actions how accurate are these actions the price is right.

Troy maybe that is what I will do I also need an action for a ppc sized bolt face and I don't want to wait till next year to get one where can I get one quickly even a used one in good condition.
 
You are in luck... based on your post, you want something nice, and being in Calgary, again your lucky. I know of a Borden build Stolle in 6 PPC that has been up for sale for a few years in Calgary. It has only seen a few matches so less than 500 rounds for sure. The guy wants around $4000 for her with dies and scope. Jim R. is the guy with this rig. If that is too much coin, there are lots of PPC's around Calgary that are no longer in use, based on Rem actions with the correct bolt face. Go out to Rosebud club (Homestead ranges out Hwy 68) and talk to the guys. Someone will fix you up. Ask Tony G. or Paul R. about were to get a good used PPC and ask about the Borden rifle. I'm sure they will remember old Jim R.

I have a Stolle Panda on a McMillan edge if your interested. Pay close attention to weights action weights. I haven't seen any of the Barnard actions in BR. I suspect there maybe a few out there since they are being a bit more popular.

As with anything, do your home work on the topic before you buy....
 
Robertson Stocks

Hi my brother who has been benchrest shooting for years, visited Robertsons
shop in Ottawa a few weeks ago, to see if he had any light weight hunting stocks for Rem's, he does not produce them at this time, my brother is bring him a mcmillan & High tech specialties stocks and he said he can make one for us, in the 1lb range I will post when completed.
this is class act operation, neet shop and very good quality stuff,and very nice people, I think you will be very happy with Robertson Products
