Robinson Armament XCR L vs XCR M

Have a L Comp model in 223 Wylde and 6.5 Grendel 500 yards no problem and no mechanical issues compared to an Ar I have.

Have both xcr l comp and xcr m. Get both is my vote. Some of my favorite rifles. Bought both lightly used. Let someone else eat the depreciation cost. Got a great deal on the xcr m and decent deal on the l. If I had to pick one it would depend entirely what the planned use was. The l is way lighter that m packs way more punch.

Did you also discover the price tag on a real G36?

If accuracy is what you want, get the HK SL-8. It’s arguably the most accurate out of the box .223 semi auto out there. Along with the FN FNAR.

It is expensive did not expect that yikes! I guess back to reality lol. Out of the box accuracy is very important, any other suggestions? How is the bushmaster ACR?

Thanks for the info! Looks like some people have great success with the XCR series. After seeing the price on the HK G36 I have to lean back towards XCR

I think it's a great rifle to shoot, if you can find one. But on the internet people like to say it's the most garbage rifle ever made. This is just people butt hurt from Bushmaster sh*tting the bed on launch and not following through with their promised aftermarket support. Nothing to do with the function of the gun though.
My personal advice would be to wait until after the election. If the Liberals manage to get back in, you can bet the ACR and XCR are going to be on the chopping block.

I have had all 3 of your options, go with a non restricted acr.
If you want a cheaper option look at wk180.
Shot my first one a few days ago, other than not having a bolt release I really liked it, and is pretty light.
I would never own anything from atrs again but that's only because of my experience with them, I'm sure their guns are good. Mine had issues though.

XCR-L gets my vote- I was having this exact conundrum last year, and I think I made the right choice. Mine has been a fantastic rifle. OP, check your PM- I might have something to help make up your mind!
