Robinson Arms Non-Restricted

The more people (including politicians), buying ARs the more pressure on the government to reclassify the AR to non restricted status.
The only reason why booze isn't banned is because a huge part of Canada's population (including the politicians) enjoy drinking it.

:D

And that's the same reason cars aren't banned.
Cars kill more people than firearms....oh,wait. Thats right the media and public focus on the driver and not the machine. Hold on a minute, then why is it that the gun is evil and must be controlled and removed from the general populations access when cars aren't. d:h:

More to the point, the only reason booze isn't banned is because when they tried it, they were faced with massive, willful non-compliance by the citizenry (including the politicians). Draw your own conclusions.

As Battlerifle said, it has to be more than just buying it, it has to be massive numbers of people in non-complience with the law. Since there are a few fewer AR owners than there are liquor drinkers in Canada :) it's probably not going to happen that way... though it would be a sweet reason to buy a half dozen ARs!

The CPC will not make a move to de-restrict any firearm or anything else other than getting rid of the LGR at this time. Write all of the letters you want to let them know how you feel but do not until they get a majority expect them to fan the anti-CPC hidden agenda flames...

and FYI there are firearms owners/hunters that are discussing this directly with the MP's showing them that these kinds of rifles are simply an under powered rifle. I know one fellow ;) that took an MP deer hunting last fall he carried his OD green XCR-L in 6.8 SPC the entire time they were out hunting.

This same guy due to his involvement with the CPC stopped the introduction of a private members bill to ban lead shot in Canada from being introduced that MP's bill that was introduced is now law so if he wasn't at a meeting when the board was told this was the MP's bill it we would now have a lead shot ban... oh and he is working to get AR's de-restricted...

Just shows if you want change you have to become involved and the best way is to become part of their team so that they know how you think.
