Robinson Arms XCR FAQ Update?

Hello everyone,

I'm new to the forum and am a bit overwhelmed with the amount of information here (not a bad thing!). Specifically regarding the. Robinson Arms XCR. The FAQ sticky currently has 175 pages of info. Unfortunately I simply don't have the time to go through all 175 pages to get some of the info I'm looking for to help me decide if it's the rifle for me.

Can someone help with an update on the current configurations/ options available?

I have a few specific questions regarding the xcr-m. With the update on the RCMP Special bulletin 72, is there a 10 round magazine option for the. 308? Is there a 5.56 barrel kit for the xcr-m? Or would I need to get the xcr-l in 7.63x39 to get a 10 round magazine and the capability of swapping barrels?

I'd really like a. 308 win for whitetail hunting but would also like to take advantage of the flexibility of the XCR to use it at the range in 5.56.

Change your view settings to 100 posts per page. That brings it down to a reasonable 17 pages.

You need the M for 308 and the L for.223. And you can get and use 10 rnd mags for both.

If you're looking for something to hunt white tail with as well as 5.56 range time go with a 5.56 and get a 6.8spc exchange. This is what I did, works great. that way you get the nice, light easy to lug around XCR-L and two good calibers. 6.8spc is hard to find but Wolverine stocks Hornady for hunting with. I think there's a used 6.8 kit on the ee as well.
