At the risk of sounding like a fool, i was under the impression that the XCR was a restricted firearm, and his one of the OP's main points was that he wanted a predator rifle. I really hope I am wrong as the XCR does look to be a nice AR.

It's not restricted, and while it takes AR mags, it's not an AR.

Buy it just to start another XCR vs (X) thread.
They are all good rifles. Just go with the one that suits you......or if you're like me, which ever rifle you think would piss off a liberal the most.
.
You don't have to vote liberal to be one.
I would buy the XCR in a heartbeat but I am waiting for the 7.62 x 51 version

Well guys I did a little more research and discovered that Robinson Arms XCR's in 223 are available in different colours so as of this morning and thanks to Wolverine I just ordered a 223 in OD Green should be here sometime in early Feb...

I'll then need a 7.62X39 conversion kit because I have over 2000 rounds sitting downstairs and I think it would make a fast handling 150 yard deer hunting rifle...
The only issue with the 7.62X39 rifle is that it is not a very good predator hunting round.
I do have over 2000 rounds of of 7.62X39 downstairs so someday if I get this rifle may buy the conversion as well.
just to clarify, are you saying you plan to use czech corrosive ammo on deer?
i only ask because it is loaded with FMJ (full metal jacket)bullets, which aren't ideal for hunting big game, and may be not allowed in some or most areas by law.
