Robinson Arms XCR-L .556 with UBR and EOTech :D

My next big ticket purchase for my XCR is gonna be a UBR, I've been wanting one for months, but haven't had the opportunity to grab one. Do they include the A2 style non collapsible buffer tube or will I have to find one on my own?

the buffer is included with the UBR
Sweet, looks like it's time to start saving

This is how I have mine configured now

Eotech exp-s3 holosight with gen 3 fts magnifier
Fab Defense T-Pod bipod/foregrip
Magpul CTS stock with standard buffer tube and Dlask adapter
Magpul MIAD handgrip
And I just picked up a pair of black gen2 pmags for it

Sadly, it's in Victoria, and I'm in Edmonton...

Still looking for a low profile back-up iron sight.... don't know what to choose though. I've thought about an MBUS. Not sure what other options there are for me. I need a low profile because of the G23 magnifier.

I'd go for KAC's Micro Flip Up irons.

Rear - 600m

Granted I'm still looking for a 2nd hand front sight at the moment (maybe Kevin B. will find a factory 2nd for me when reading this...;) !), but from just the quality of the rear sight (flip and very positive clicks for the elevation it's obvious these are some high quality irons.

That actually looks like a great option. I will have to look in to this further

Very nice rifle OP!

Do save weight when going with a UBR over the FAST stock? I'm asking because i want to shave some weight off my XCR.

Thanks

I would say that it actually adds weight to the rifle but it is actually quite beneficial because it balances out the rifle. Ends up making the XCR feel ALOT less front heavy.

It's worth the money. Everytime I've put a 1-4x optic on a rifle I've replaced it with a Eotech. The magnifier once aligned properly with sight offers a very crisp sight view. Even from a bench I can shoot equally as well with the magnifier as a normal cross hair optic. Plus with the flip to side and usual QD removal of the magnifier switching is simple. Add another Eotech to another rifle and use the same magnifier. Very cost effective if a holo sight is what works for you.

You're right. It looks a little weird with the PRS. Just googled it. Definitely like your UBR look much better.

In all fairness that appears to be a NEA first gen stock adapter. Those adapters are so low that any stock looks like it doesn't fit the rifle.

Sweet setup you have there OP.
