SEE BELOW FOR DETAILS!

We just got our first shipment in awhile of Robinson Arms XCR-M rifles in .308 Winchester! These need very little introduction in Canada these days -- non-restricted piston operated .308 black rifles with a fantastic set of ambidextrous controls and a fully collapsing/folding stock that reduces the overall length by enough to make an AR-10 jealous! The XCR series are one of the most popular families of non-restricted firearms in Canada, and for great reasons. It's hard to say no to quick-change caliber conversion ability being just a couple minutes away and fully possible in field conditions; the XCR-M can go from .308 to .260, 6.5 Creedmoor, or .243 Winchester with the help of caliber conversion kits consisting of a new barrel, bolt, and mag, all installable by the shooter in the woods in minutes flat with basic tools. We have these rifles available now in four colors, and spare magazines to go with those rifles as well.

Robinson Armament XCR-M .308WIN Rifles:

Non-restricted rifles available in several colors to make them equally at home in any element. Each rifle features integral monolithic M1913 picatinny railed forearms, non-reciprocating charging handle, brass deflector, folding/collapsing FAST stock system, ambidextrous controls, compensated medium profile barrels, and clean adjustable gas piston operation. Includes hard case and standard 5-round magazine. AVAILABLE IN BLACK, TAN, OLIVE, AND TIGER STRIPE

Please click one of the images above to see that model on our site.

These are easily one of the best selling firearms available in Canada and they do great work in the field for deer season with a black rifle flair or on the bench at the range when you have a backstop you want to punish!

Cheers,
Daniel

Stupid Question. Why is this gun non restricted but an AR-15 is (new to firearms so lots to learn :)

AR-15s are restricted by name. Because they looked scary (Seriously). The XCR has a barrel length longer than 18.5" and cannot be readily converted into fully auto..

Any caliber change kit in 243 in stock, cant wait to use that one K of 90 gr Lapua Scenar, those been sitting for a long time waiting for a purpose, just imagine H4831 and those 90 gr...pushing 3200 fps +, marmottes with a pleasure... JP.

just because this company didn't get any at this moment in time doesn't mean they don't exist or won't be coming to Canada for years to come.

Hey...thanks for clearing THAT up. lol The XCR-M was the first XCR I ever tried, sweet guns for sure.

The 5.56mm XCR-Ls are due in about three weeks or so. :) A lot goes into getting rifles produced and across an international border, so there's just been a gap in shipments. No big deal, and certainly better than a ton of other manufacturers at the moment!

Cheers,
Daniel

Thanks for the update Daniel. No dealers seem to want to give an ETA...even rough ones...due to all these unknowns. Appreciate the heads-up! :)

That's because we don't want to end up having the rug pulled out from under us and looking like we're telling a fib -- we want to be honest at all times. We do appreciate the understanding! Three weeks is the best estimate we can give, and isn't set in stone... but the people involved with the import/export of the XCR for distribution in Canada are reliable, good people and do a good job, so we're more confident in that estimate than we are with many other manufacturers right now!

Cheers,
Daniel

Thx, was or is there a pre order?, or is it just a first come first serve??.
again thx

We do have some already pre-sold due to the long wait since the last 5.56mm rifles. My own special order XCR-L in 5.56mm will be on that shipment too, so I've been waiting along with everyone else since November. If you're concerned about securing one on this shipment after the seven month gap of 5.56mm XCR-Ls, send me an email and I'll get you squared away with a deposit to hold one for you in your name. Solidarity amongst 5.56mm XCR-L brothers. :D

Cheers,
Daniel
