Actually if your XCR is punching primers, it is more likely the chamfering on the firing pin hole on the bolt face. Robinson had supposedly cured that, but call Robarm or PM Terra (XCRMonger here on CGN) and she will offer you a fix or a new bolt. I had this problem with the first batch of XCR and it was a simple self fix.
I guess you got one of the originals brought into Canada? As for the denting of the brass (if that is what you were trying to say) it is because your Gas setting is too high. The break in period says that it should be on 4 for the first 200-400 rounds or so IIRC, but I found that mine broke in way sooner than that. I kept mine on 3, then 2 and now 1 much faster than Robarm stated. (Though I did buy mine off another CGNer and he probably mostly broke it in already)
