So i was in cabela's today and I see that they have the rob arms xcr in 7.62x39.

i've gotta say, its a pretty awesome rifle, and at $2500 it seems to be priced well compared to some sites i've seen it on.

the guy there was telling me that they should be getting 223 and 308 versions too.

just thought i'd let you guys know, if anyone was looking to get their paws on one before buying it.

what do they usually charge for shipping?
i live in edmonton after all :p

I have no idea, I alway pick up. Edmonton would be a bit of a road trip for you to go there in person I guess. But just think that if you did drive out here to pick it up, you could stop in Scarborough on your trip to test it out in a crowd...

On my wishlist...love the fact that you can convert them to 308, 223, etc - and it's non-res.

$2500 is little above my means at the moment - considering my glock 17, 930spx and norc 14.5" combined was under 2K.

The L model can currently only be converted between .223, 7.62x39 and 6.8SPC. The M model is currently available just in 308 but others are coming.

I shot one today and I would love to have one in 223.
With our game laws in NB you can carry them all year. The one I fored has a great trigger, but the folding stock was loose.
I expected it to be solid like the Galil or the FNC.

I got mine at P&D in Edmonton for $2500, I talked them into paying the tax when I bought mine along with a case of 500 rounds, saved me almost $200

Wow. You must be real good at bartering. I bought my XCR-L from P and D, trijicon 5-20 scope, 1000 rounds, a bipod, 4 pmags, leupold scope mount and pelican case, and the guy RAN up when I was paying to make sure they were sure to add the $15 dollar labour charge on the bill for the scope mounting. I was livid. Real classy move on a $4500+ purchase. P and D lost a customer that day.

well I think they felt bad that I'd had to run all over edmonton back and forth from the store to the hunting show at the River Cree casino a couple times, realistically it only saved me $135 or so, but it was a nice gesture
