Rock chucker mounting question

I bolted mine with 3/8" bolts. Washers on both sides of the surface. The surface is two sheets of 3/4" plywood on top of each other, glued and clamped together and bolted into the tabletop. Don't use lag screws to attach the press to the table. They might pull out when sizing rifle brass.

Ruffbird - looks like your press is the same vintage as mine. I take it the cut-down plastic container is to catch the primers? How well does it work?

Yes, the plastic is cut to fit & taped to the original primer catcher to better keep them from the floor. It works better! Think of it as a hay rack,....kind of!

Also, I did use flat washers under the bench-top & an extra thick one next to the cast as seen in the photo.....

I used a couple of 3/8 bolts (shank diameter) at 5 inches long with washers and nylon nuts. They go through my 3/4" marine ply top and 2x4 bracing under the ply. I have photos but I don't know how to attach them.
