Rock Island and/or Metro Arms 1911

Looking for some inexpensive 1911's manufactured from the Philippines. Any places in Canada that carry these brands of 1911?

Armscor and SAM make pretty decent 1911's. Have a few and no complaints.

Do you have any experience with the SAM military 1911 in 9mm? Is it reliable? I am thinking of getting one.

I sold a couple SAM in 45 , not 9mm. Seemed fine, only think I did not like was the type of finish, just me, I like shiny
Looked well made and some of the big name guys use those guns as a starting point.
