Rock Island Armoury M22 (10/22 Clone)...any good???

Sorry if this has already been discused but I couldn't find any reviews on this gun! Im just wondering if they are really a clone of the 10/22 ruger and if they are as reliable? I noticed it was cheaper than the ruger...did they cut any corners, sacrifice quality??? What about after market stocks, triggers, barrels, etc...
Any info from you guys out there that own one would be a tremendous help!

Clone except for the barrels.... Do a search, a few long threads on them here. Seem like fine guns if you don't want to swap out the barrel
 
Mine arrived yesterday. Shot it today at 20 yards. The trigger was quite good and improved a bit after 50 shots. I am rather fussy about triggers and I am pleased with this one, right out of the box.

I sprayed some G96 into the action, to lube it up. After the first 10 shots, it ran perectly.

It did not group well with my Federal Classic HV ammo, but 3 other types of HV grouped very well.

I brought it home and installed a peep sight on it. My old eyes don't handle open sights very well.

I did find a long thread on them after I had posted my question...I might want to do some customization later on so dont they seem like the type of rifle that I want. Unless they come up with an aftermarket match grade barrel for them:)
