First, thank you all for your great input. it has really helped. I have decided to sell the collection in Canada. I am currently putting together an offering list and taking a lot of pictures. It will start appearing on the EE in the next few weeks.

Of interest. 1894, 1892, and 1886 Winchesters, 1883 Colt Burgess (2), 1884 Colt Medium Frame, 1886 Colt Medium Frame, Spencer Carbines (7) and Spencer Rifle (1), various ball and cap colts, various colt conversions, various engraved colts original and 2nd gen, various colt 2nd gen colts, 6 pistol colt set matching serial numbers, 1905 Colt 45 auto with matching serial number shoulder stock, and various other firearms.

Hope you all find something you like.

Bud Haynes all the way. He has been doing Gun Auctions since the early 1970's...I was at his second gun auction in 1971, and never missed a bi-monthly sale till the mid 1990's. He has sold some awesome estates and set several world record sales (Victoria Cross from 1857, which I saw being sold). There have been odd things come through there that raised question, he made it clear to all the concerns raised. Very Honest and good company to work with.
As for Rock Island, I had a some discussions with serious high end collectors in the United States asking their opinion. Most were not that favorable, due to delays in getting money from a sale, and goods purchased. It is best, when buying from Rock Island, to be onsite and physically examine the items you are buying. They are not very friendly to Canadian buyers if a dispute arises. They have been known to have moved some spurious pieces, though they admittedly are not experts in the field of firearms and militaria. I have seen a few lots that came from them and they were not what they listed them as, regarding condition and authenticity...this is hands on experience. They do put out a glossy high quality production and draw a good crowd if the items warrant it.
Your best bet...stay in Canada, with an auction house that advertises internationally.

Any idea as to when you will start rolling some of these pieces out onto the EE?

If your guns are pristine, mint etc, go the auction route. If they are in shooter condition, sell here. Good luck and be careful.
