Hi Folks,

I am in the market for an AR-15. I have been looking at the RRA "TASC" model with great interest, as shown on Questars website. First off, does anybody here know what TASC stands for?

Initially I was looking for a "basic" model; w/ 20" barrel, carry handle and standard buttstock as I really like the looks of these. After doing some reading I realize that a lot of the mods & upgrades would come in very handy to me right from the start (adjustable stock, flat top, etc). Hence my current interest in (and lust over) this 16" beauty.

So, I guess I'm asking for opinions about the most practical options to choose for these fine rifles. I will use it for fun, and to practice for the day when (hopefully never) the SHTF scenario plays out and Zombies run rampant in the streets. :)

Thanks, Jeff/1911.

The problem with AR15's is that there are too many different things you can do with them and you will ultimately have to try everything. That's the fun of it.

As for RRA, I am still waiting for a report from a CGN member regarding quality and accuracy.

Does anyone have RRA stuff yet?

'Tactical And Sh*t Cool' maybe...

RRA have a good reputation but if i was about to buy another ar it would be a stag from arms east.

I have been looking hard at the Stag Arms AR's too...do you think they're better?
