Is it worth the extra dollars to get this in a Rock River lower? Adds about $100 bucks. Anybody tried it? Any comments on it? Thanks for any help.:D

I've got one in my R22. It's a decided improvement over the standard unit. It drops right in, no fiddling of phucking around.

It's nice... like a glass rod breaking each and every time. :)

The difference is very noticeable when you compare it to a normal trigger.

yeah so far Im putting together the following... anybody think this combo sounds ok? Or will I be looking at any problems?

Rock River National Match Lower
Rock River 10.5 Upper A4
Pop up rear rail sight
Pop up front rail sight
Daniel Defense 9.5 fps rail
Magpul Stock
Magpul Grip and grip kit.
Smith Vortex Flash Hider

No optics planned for awhile.

For the pop up front site, which is attached to the gas block, what brands should I look at? Rock River doesnt sell a front pop up anymore, I think, or if they do it isnt listed.

I just put an Armalite PRI flip up front sight .750 diam. with gas block integration on my colt AR15. It looks good and works good after a small squeeze with rubber coated pliers to remove the .005 " play in the swivel. The nice part is the full circle body surrounding the sight which helps in quick target aquisition when lining up rear sight to it.

ok thanks for advice. If I go with the Troy pop up sights. With an A4 upper, and the Daniel Defense rail. Does the front site mount on the upper gas block? Or do I not mount it there but mount it back on the Daniel Rail system? I really wanted to get a rail that extended right up to the muzzle brake. But the Daniel rail seems to be the biggest? Would I otherwise have to change out my gas block for a smaller one? To have a rail system go over top of it? Is this a bad idea? I am not sure about gas blocks. I have seen some low profile ones. Also I was confused as the factory gas block with mini rail top, seems to look like its about 1/2 inch lower than the Daniel rail/?

I want to sort of build a rail that looks like the grenadier precision rifle 6.8. WIth the rail going all the way to the muzzle brake and with a front pop up (troy). ????

You need to use the right height flip up for the gas block to make up for the 1/2, either a standard removable gas block front sight or a flip up made for gas blocks. I think GG&G,YHM and Samson make a flip up for the gas block.

I like the Samson stuff, http://www.samson-mfg.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=SM&Category_Code=FFS
