I'm still wanting to know if it truly was unfired or not...the media said so but it was never truly confirmed. I doubt it. The guy should have tried to fire it...then call the EOD in.

Just did a quick search and found an article about that find with a pic of the rear of the tube. Looks live to me. (and yeah I would know what that looks like ;-))

The tubes are fairly common, the rocket, not so much.
I'm thinking a good shape tube is in the $200 range, the rocket, I wouldn't sell for less than $500. But that's just me not wanting to get rid of it.

No offense but the rocket looks like a mate between a M31 rifle grenade inserted into a LAW rocket fin section. But of course I could be totally wrong.

Your correct. The early ones were M31 warheads with a rocket motor attached.

Pfffft. Why go to all the hassle? Just tell them there is free dope in tofino and then after a week or two cut off ferry service and the problem will have solved itself. It'd be like a big hippy Alcatraz.
