A little idea here:

I wanted a rolling handle on my SDB as on Dillon's 650 but Dillon don't make some (and won't) so I made one myself using a cheap Canadian Tire's hand winch rolling handle (they don't sell just the handle).

I didn't make it to have more leverage but to have less friction in the palm, the movement is clearly smoother.

2 holes, 20 minutes and an impressive improvement from the 8-ball handle I had...even the color matches the press !! (see pix).

A good thing is that, except for the 2 holes, neither of the handles were modified so if I change my mind I can put the 8-ball back and even re-use the winch handle with the winch.

Thanks for the post & the pics.

I have a SQB and the round ball has always bothered a little. Your way looks better.

I think I will go to Can. Tire this afternoon & pick up the parts.

Thanks

Nice job... don't be surprised if Dillon sees it and markets a similar handle adapter.........
Perhaps lock washers or lock nuts might be a good idea as well. You have a good mind!

I send them the pictures when I made it in february but they didn't email back

I didn't want to have a long bolt for scratching myself on it so I took a shorter bolt, no lock washer and 2 drops of locktite !
