Romanian/Albanian SKS

Most Albanian SKS's were destroyed under an aid agreement after the fall of the government, there simply aren't that many left. There are some in the US but they sell for a premium, very very few came to Canada.

The closes I came to owning an Albanian sks is when I owned the carrier, I loved the AK style cocking handle.

I had two Albanian's at one time but sold one in the EE in early 2015. They can be imported from the US.

Hello all. Was wondering if anyone here has a Romanian or an Albanian Sks. If so what do they run for here in Canada? I would love to get my hands on these in the future
.
Look for the recent addition of Man at Arms for the gun collector magazine June 2019 as there’s an historical write up on the Albanian SKS. —-Dieseldog!

other than collection what is the purpose of romanian albanian ones ....

Bubba'eing them into an "AK-clone" because of that "AK-style" bolt handle, lol!

Funny thing is, some peeps probably did exactly that with their Albanian SKS's back in the 1990's, when the gun was worth $50... and threw away or cut up the "useless" original stock too. Why not, it's only milsurp and will never be worth anything anyway! (they said)
