I don't have one but I've seen and tried one last February. Installation was a breeze. By the way, no offense meant, where did you get your RONI Kit? I've heard few guys getting counterfeit version of this kit. Airsoft version being passed as the real RONI kit. I hope yours is the real one so you can always get it replaced by the dealer or manufacturer.

Is the barrel shroud hitting the front of the slide / frame? I have a Roni for the CZ P07 Duty, and because of the extended length Canadian legal barrel, I had to move the shroud forward to the position set for the full size CZ P09. Also try completely removing the barrel shroud and see if the front locking block closes. (Don't shoot it like that, but just try and see if it closes)

You can also contact the manufacturer directly. I did with mine, and received a reply within 24hrs. Just a heads up, they advised that all Roni kits produced in the last 6 months and going forward will all have polymer side rails. Here is the link to their contact page:

I bought my Roni from a shop in Edmonton. It is for the glock not airsoft. Turns out the shroud was set for the glock 19 not the 17. One of the other CGNers messaged me and helped me figure it out. Took it to the range this past Sunday and it works like a dream! Very happy with it. Thank you for that link to contact them. I will be keeping that link just in case.
