Blaxsun why did you post that pic? Is that a latest version? Never seen that one before?
EDIT: I just checked the CAA sight. They do have a G2 that looks like your pic but they are also selling the G1 for the same price as the G2 right now.
Here are the improvements on the G2..
new design improves integration between the pistol and the RONI.
The pair now function as one seamless unit.
larger gas ports - improves ventilation, allowing gases to escape quickly and reduce heat buildup.
Features a larger ejection port to eliminate jams and stove piping.
Longer upper Picatinny rail -25cm
Design to fit the Glock 18 - the auto switch is exposed to operate.
The cocking handle is longer & tighter on the pistol’s slide.
Optional locking screws – locks the pistol even tighter & prevents quick access/installation if needed.
I dug up some of my "real" Roni G1 pics that I bought from Questar. I spent over $400 on this one...
Here is the one I bought for $120 taxes in. BTW I showed this to a guy that does plastic injection and he said this one is more than strong enough. It is not taking even close to enough impact/heat from the Glock to be concerned about safety...

CAA sent me a news release on it so figured I'd share. Yes, it's the latest G2 version. Not sure when it will be available. Everything's always strong enough... until it isn't.
Where did you get the 30rd mag? I want one, I need one!!!!!
There used to be a guy here called DynamiteMonkey but he doesn't sell them anymore. I bought them for IDPA Barney mags so I don't screw up after the top up.

I've got a black one (minus logo) for sale if anyone wants it. It seems pretty solid and I'm sure it will do the trick. It holds the pistol in there pretty tight and doesn't move around at all. I haven't shot it yet and won't be able to for a while because of surgery, which is why I'm selling it. PM me if you're interested.
Are you sure? I remember when I bought the original Roni the Gen 4 with the funky curved lines on the back of the slide would not work.
Yep; as the others have stated the gen 4 doesn't have the "funky" curved slide serrations/grip. G17 gen 4 fits the Roni gen 1. Your talking about a different Glock generation.
My bad. I believe the RTF is still considered a 4th gen just with the rough texture and curved serrations. Anyway that one can't be used.
Edit: Just checked yes te RTF is gen4 just a different option.

Yep, that's the Gen 3.5. The Gen3 and Gen4's fit fine.
I have three Gen3s and love my Glocks but still haven't looked much into the newer models. So I know 4th gen has the RTF option. Does that option now keep the straight serrations?
I don't think there is a gen 4 "rough textured frame" (rtf). That was available for gen 3 Glocks.
The gen 4 Glock have a different texture to them, its like micro pyramids and I find very effective. The slide "grip" is straight up and down on the gen 4's.

Yeah. I checked Glock's website. It is.
I picked up my new to me Glock 17 3rd gen and was surprised to see it is nearly new, showing virtually no wear on the chamber ramp or the locking lug.
Unfortunately it is a C model so I can't shoot it in the Roni till the threaded barrel comes in.
