RONI Glock Carbine conversion kits - Good news!

No, I am planning to run a real can on it. ;)

It's not so much hate as it is envy.

It is funny how some people think they are the coolest thing on the earth and others have absolutely no interest at all. I have run into people who I offered to let try the one thing they are absolutely forbidden by law and the reply was, "No thanks, I'm not really interested"

You'd think any firearm enthusiast would jump at the chance to try the forbidden fruit but not everyone does.

Another thing I have noticed is that people who are not at all firearms enthusiasts, when exposed to these things first hand, universally ask why they are prohibited and why can't shooters have them. They just make shooting so much more civilized and enjoyable.

Maybe they're just afraid they'll really really like it. So long as they don't try it, they won't know what they're missing and either won't have their expectations disappointed or won't spend the rest of forever lusting for it.

Me too. I find them endlessly fascinating.

A couple of years ago I got the chance to wander through Al Paulson's silencer collection. The guy has an amazing variety of cans but it was the older, iconic stuff that I wasost interested in seeing.

Designs come and go but where else was I going to get to handle an original Sten Mk2S or a real OSS HighStandard or Sionics cans? Those are old, outdated designs now but they are so cool to see in person.

I have been to several silencer shoots in the US and visited with some prominent manufacturers and testers at the top of the industry and I always take the opportunity to try interesting stuff because you never know when you may get another chance.

My Glock 34 Shroud and QD sling swivel from Questar showed up as well as my Bushnell TRS-25 .
I mounted the reddot , removed my cut down version and installed the correct shroud for my Glock 34 .The new shroud has the vents cut in the top as opposed to having the vents on the side like my original one.
The trip to the range was very impressive.I am new to Glocks as I have only put a couple hunderd rounds through my 34 before this kit was installed. As I stated before it was $153 delivered and thought it was a good deal ... and now after firing a box of shells through it I like it even more !!
This thing is alot of fun and I was getting clover leafs with 3 round groups at 25 yards. At 50 yards I had a 15 in Gong and a piece of 3 in x 12 in steel set up .
I got 100% on the round 15 in gong and about 70% on the small rectangular one.

The only complaint I have with this setup is the reddot is a bit low in my opinion , I would like to raise it 1/2 in or so , I will try moving it to the forward most position on the rail to see if that helps. It is a great little kit and it only takes a few secs to remove my pistol if I use a punch to push out the pins.

You should buy a picatinny spacer or directly go buy a new optic with a high raiser spacer with it...

Personnaly, I use a L-3 Eotech 512 on my Roni and his hologram capabilities provides a good eye relief with both eyes open...

What you can do, is go on Ebay and buy a good copy of an Aimpoint Comp M4S (Ebay #:140652354009) or an Aimpoint Micro T-1 (Ebay #: 140642215615 ).

You can buy other type of optics on this ebay seller "bravo2zero-b20".
