Rookie M1 Garand Questions

Ah geez guys, now I want to go dig out my Garands to play with!

Now I have a question. Are there any manufacturers making brand new M1 Garands, other then the 'Iwo Jima Commemerative Edition'?

I have checked around, but all I have found are rebuilds and original milsurps.

Any ideas?

I knew that Springfield Armory (the company that makes the "XD" pistols) had them in their catalog (308 and 3006) within the last couple years. Small makers/gunsmiths down south are also rebuilding/making them on GI or aftermarket receivers. A copy of "Shotgun News" might help you.

Yup, I believe they were listed on Wolverine's site within the last couple years? I might be mistaken on the dealer, though. I seem to remember them being somewhere above the 2K$ mark.

Also, if I'm not mistaken, there was or possibly still is a SA repro (if reproduction is the right thing to call it) in the EE fairly recently.

Equipment Exchange. Look at the bottom of the main forum listings. You need to suscribe specifically to the EE and have it approved by a mod before you get access.
