Today I took my Blue Star to the range to try and zero my Elite 3200 scope. The shots were all over the place. I thought it was a scope or a rifle, so I took the scope off to try with iron sights. It shot well and then I realized that the rail was loosenning badly from each shot. If anybody had the same problem, what can you recommend? Or should I just get an original Sig rail?

There is a set screw that you need to tighten on the side of the mount. If your problem still persists, try nailpolish or blue loctite on the main bolt.

+1 to locktite

I had the same thing happen when I had an Elcan mounted. Was shifting POI. A bit of blue locktite should do the trick.

Thanks for advice. I saw the hole on the side and could not figure out what it is for. My rail came without the screw. I wonder if I can find the right screw at Home Depot or other store.
