Gotcha. Then it makes sense how the Win leaf sight looks out of place. It would be a bit of a crime to put a band sight on a 1905 R, they're rare birds these days. Even in their original days too not terribly common in the scheme of things.

I don't frequent this section enough, I hadn't noticed this thread was bumped up again.
I'm actually just getting motivated to start work on one more of these, as I have had the barrel blank for a couple years now. I don't quite have all the parts though, such as sights and the barrel band.
