I am in the process of disassembling a Ross non-factory 1910 sporter so that I can use the parts on my dewat full length barrel/receiver to make it appear in full military config.
All parts are removed except a pivoting flat steel catch that seems to engage or stop the bolt . The catch (on the left hand side of the receiver below the sight) is coil spring loaded and the pivot pin is found under the receiver . That pivot pin has a stepped head on it and protrudes to expose the step.
I am guessing the catch is forced forward or back or in or out and that will allow the pin to be pulled out. I have tried all the directions to no avail and didn't want to start forcing something.
Can some one please tell me the trick to remove this catch/pin/spring ? Any help would be appreciated.
