Sweet little Cadet. At least yours didnt have the usual broken wrist. About 50% of Cadets I've seen had broken wrists including my rare commercial 1/2 stock Cadet.

Most likely enthusiastic young cadets bashing them on the floor. Many I've seen had crappy bores from early corrosive .22 ammo.

Ross bore
Was dark and pitted. I know I checked it several times over the year it was there hoping it had got better. MDCharleton had one awhile back that was also repaired at wrist and dark bore for $225, but think owner took back.
