I want to sell my 1905 Ross Factory Sporter. It has a few issues. There is a crack in the stock at the floor plate. There is a repair at the butt. And the rear site and the sling swivels are probably wrong. The bore is excellent and she is a shooter. I was just wondering what a fair price would be. Thanks for the help. http:// http:// http:// http:// http://

Win64- Don't want to rain (or snow) on your parade, but your Sporter has obviously been subjected to Bubba's tender mercies....a clean, unabused, original 1905-R would likely sell in the $400-$500 range either side of the razor-wire; yours is really a 'partsgun' now- I know in the past I've sold or traded several decent 1905-R's for not much, because one had the barrel shortened severely, and the other had been drilled and tapped for a 'scope- with the Ross serial only on the barrel, a switch of parts would have produced one decent R and a still-usable but not collectible R. Fair price now as-is? $100-$150 max, IMHO.....sorry.

1905 Ross

The old girl probably still shoots pretty good even tho bubba messed with it. Also makes me sad to see the CIL ammo crate got hit by bubba as well :(

Heeeey, wait a minute. I recognize that Ross, cuz I sold it to Win/64 just a few months ago! Was that way when I got it so dont blame me and those are actually pictures from MY loading table so yes, the ammo box is mine, and yes I cut it to hold a rifle over 25 years ago. How was I to know it would someday be a highly prized collector piece! ar!ar!
